Guide
How It Works
How the platform works, from asking a question to accepting an answer, and from payment to refunds.
Process
From question to resolution in three stages
Stage 01
Write your question
Choose the practice area and describe the events with dates and amounts. Ask for free, or open a paid question for urgent matters.
- You can ask without an account; verifying your email is enough.
- Do not write anything that identifies you, such as your name, address or case number — questions are published publicly.
Stage 02
Get an expert answer
The question lands in the inboxes of lawyers with verified bar registration. Paid questions run a response-time counter.
- Paid questions are answered within 24 hours; the timer starts once payment completes.
- Median time to the first answer on the platform: 2.4 days.
Stage 03
Reach a solution
Compare answers, message the lawyer, accept the best answer and rate the lawyer.
- The accepted answer is sealed and shown first on the question page.
- On a paid question, accepting releases the payment to the lawyer; you can then rate the lawyer.
Pricing
What you pay, how long you wait
See at a glance what each type costs, how long you wait for an answer and when you get a refund.
Free question
For general guidance; lawyers answer voluntarily.
- Amount
- Free
- Response time
- No commitment — an answer is not guaranteed
- Refund
- No payment, so no refund
Paid question
Time-committedFor time-sensitive matters; the question is prioritised and the timer starts.
- Amount
- TRY 50.00 – TRY 50,000.00Suggested: TRY 100.00
- Response time
- 24 hours
- Refund
- Refund right if the time runs out unanswered
Amounts and times are read from platform settings. The amount you pay is the amount you see at checkout; there are no extra fees. The platform’s share comes out of the lawyer’s earnings.
As a client: 5 steps
- Write your question. Choose the practice area and describe the events with dates and amounts. Do not write information that identifies you (name, address, case number) — questions are published publicly.
- Choose free or paid. For a paid question you set the amount; the question enters the priority queue and the response-time commitment begins.
- Moderation and publication. The question passes automated review and, if it follows the rules, is published and lands in the inboxes of lawyers working in that area.
- Review the answers. Several lawyers may answer. You compare the answers and, if needed, message the lawyer for details.
- Accept an answer and rate it. For a paid question, accepting releases the payment to the lawyer and cannot be undone. You can then rate the lawyer.
You can also ask without an account: send a guest question using a one-off link that verifies your email address, then claim it later by creating an account.
Free or paid question?
- Free question: public, answered by lawyers voluntarily. There is no guarantee that an answer will arrive, or when. Suitable for general orientation questions.
- Paid question: once payment completes the question enters the priority list, the response-time counter starts and you can request a refund if it passes without an answer. Suitable for time-critical matters and topics requiring detailed review.
How the response time (SLA) works
- The countdown starts the moment payment completes; the remaining time is shown on your question page.
- If a lawyer answers before the deadline the counter stops and you receive a notification.
- If the deadline passes without an answer you are notified and can request a refund. Where the platform setting allows, the refund starts automatically.
- Once the refund completes your question can remain published as a free question.
The current window is managed from platform settings and shown to you clearly at the payment step; no fixed number of minutes is written on this page, so it cannot mislead when the setting changes.
Payment and refunds
- Payments are taken through a licensed payment institution; your card details are never stored on the platform.
- The amount you pay is the amount you see at checkout; there are no extra fees. The platform’s share comes out of the lawyer’s earnings.
- If no answer arrives within the response time, once it has passed you can request a full refund with the “Request Refund” button on your question page; if the platform setting is on, the refund starts automatically. Closing the question or giving up before an answer arrives does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
- Refund requests are opened from the “Request refund” link on your question page and tracked from your dashboard.
- Refunds reach the card used for payment, depending on the bank, within 3–10 business days.
As a lawyer: 4 steps
- Sign up and verify your bar registration. You apply with your bar association name, registration number and a document upload; an approved account receives the “verified lawyer” badge.
- Choose your practice areas. Questions in those areas arrive in your inbox first.
- Write answers. For paid questions you see the countdown; your answer passes moderation before publication.
- Track your earnings. The net amount of accepted answers is credited to your balance and paid to the account you provide when you request a payout.
Articles and subscriptions
Lawyers publish articles in their practice areas. Articles may be free or paid; an article you buy is added to your library and your access continues even if the author later unpublishes it. Subscription plans are for lawyers who publish regularly and are managed from the dashboard.
Security and moderation
- All content passes automated review before publication; suspicious content goes to a human moderator.
- You can protect your account with two-factor authentication (TOTP or SMS).
- You can report an inappropriate question, answer or message with the “Report” link.
- Messaging opens only between the parties to a question; content may be reviewed by moderation when necessary.
Can I ask a question without an account?
Yes. From the guest question screen you can send a one-off question with your email address. You confirm it via the link sent to your inbox and can later claim it by creating an account.
Who sets the price of a paid question?
You do. The amount you pay is the amount you see at checkout; there are no extra fees. The platform’s share comes out of the lawyer’s earnings. It is never added to your total.
What happens if my paid question gets no answer?
A response-time counter starts once payment completes. If the window passes with no answer you are notified and can request a refund; where platform settings allow, the refund starts automatically.
